Reading Spiritualist Association was formed in 2009 with the intention of providing an informal, relaxed environment for people to witness Spirit Communication. We believe that Spiritualism is an evolving religion that embraces life and moves and changes with the times.

During our meetings, we sing modern(ish) songs that we feel have spiritual words and spiritual meanings and you are encouraged to swing your hips and enjoy them! It is not uncommon to sing along to songs by artists such as Boyzone, The Carpenters, ABBA and Robbie Williams! These songs really help to raise the vibrations to enable Spirit Communication to take place.

Please remember that Spirit Communication is considered to be an experiement and results can never be guaranteed.

We hire the hall from 7.30pm until 9.30pm and the meeting starts at 7.45pm. Entrance is £2 per person. Children under the age of 16 and Senior Citizens are £1.50. To assist with meeting the costs involved in hiring the hall and the visiting mediums expenses, a raffle is also held at the end of the evening. Refreshments after the meeting are also available for a small donation.

Different Spiritualist Churches have different formats to their meetings so naturally there will be some variation but ours is as follows:

The Meeting may be followed by Healing, a workshop given by the Visiting Medium or an Open Circle
